The administration is located at Gutleutstraße 295-301 in 60327 Frankfurt am Main and currently looks after 7 special needs schools in the southern Hesse region with around 830 pupils (m / f / d). There are two schools with a focus on hearing in Frankfurt and Bad Camberg, each with an affiliated interdisciplinary early counseling center, and one school with a focus on vision in Frankfurt, 2 schools with a focus on emotional and social or spiritual development in Idstein and 2 schools with Sick schoolchildren (m / f / d) in Riedstadt and Eltville. There is also a boarding school in Bad Camberg.

Around 120 LWV employees work for the facilities in administration, economic, social and educational services. The total budget is around EUR 14 million. The administration is responsible for the operational school board and school management tasks of the school board LWV Hessen, i. H. for ongoing operational management based on the principles of efficiency, economy and efficiency, as well as personnel and job management for LWV employees as well as construction and maintenance.
