EU advisor / research advisor (m / f / d)

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Research and preparation of funding announcements, guidelines and tenders with a focus on European and international funding opportunities
  • Advice on funding opportunities for research projects and support with applications (EU level)
  • Advice and administrative support for project implementation, resource planning and project reporting
  • Support with the reporting of the research department as well as with the internal publication media
  • Interface between professors, subject areas and their heads as well as the university's service facilities such as press or IT for research-related questions and topics
  • Support in expanding the research department and further developing research funding

Requirements and expectations

  • Completed scientific university degree (master's or equivalent degree), doctorate advantageous
  • Experience in applying for third-party funding or in the preparation of third-party funding applications as well as project administration (as a consultant or researcher)
  • Good knowledge of the German and European research (funding) landscape
  • Experience in application and administration of EU projects (Horizon)
  • Safe communication and moderation skills in interdisciplinary target groups and teams
  • High level of advice and service orientation
  • Ability to work in a team with simultaneous initiative and the ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Results-oriented, structured and independent working method as well as the ability to work conceptually are desirable
  • Very good knowledge of the English language (in Word and writing) as well as an experienced use of the common software systems (MS Office, especially Excel)
