The central task of Department 32 “Regional Development” is the development of the regional plan, from the conception to its implementation in subordinate planning. The other tasks of the department include: Spatial planning procedures as well as regional monitoring and other services.

The deployment is to take place in the department "Cartography" of Department 32. The main tasks are:

• Manage, record, obtain and edit geospatial data
• Processing, modeling of spatial data
• Maintenance of database structures
• Developing spatial analyzes
• Illustration, graphic design and presentation of the geodata
• Internal and external services

The area of responsibility includes intensive interdisciplinary cooperation with the subject areas, other departments of the house, but also municipalities and districts as well as other specialist authorities.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Successful completion of vocational training as a geomatician or surveying technician or comparable qualification and skills

It would also be desirable

• In-depth knowledge of using ArcGIS Desktop
• Professional experience in the field of spatial data processing
• Confident handling of the most important Office applications (especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The task requires the willingness to travel occasionally. You should therefore have a class B driver's license (or driving service by a work assistant in the sense of SGB IX).

In order to be able to evaluate the existence of the special technical requirement features with the applicants, a practical task is set before the start of the selection interview, which should be solved within 30 minutes with the ArcGIS Desktop software. The results should be presented during the selection interview.
