Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Study diagnostics as well as (neuro-) psychological diagnostics for emotional, cognitive or behavioral problems in the context of chronic illness
  • Individual offers, outreach individual care for children and adolescents at the bedside who cannot leave the room, I.B. in the context of fear management and pain therapy
  • Patient training, adherence promotion, support in coping with the disease
  • Help in enforcing social law claims
  • Follow-up care

Requirements and expectations

  • Completed university degree in psychology, health sciences, pedagogy or special education (M.Sc)
  • Experience in test diagnostics

Requirements and expectations

According to the law for part-time and fixed-term employment contracts (Section 14 (2) TzbfG), hiring temporary employees or former employees at the Essen University Hospital is not permitted.
