The German Insurance Association (GDV) in Berlin is the umbrella organization for insurers in Germany. We represent the interests of an exciting, efficient and diverse industry to parliament, government and the public - both nationally and at European level.

We are now looking for another committed team player for the politics department.

As a policy officer (f/m/d)

• You will be responsible for monitoring political processes and procedures
• You will support the association's political advocacy and political communication at the federal level
• You will provide information and analyses on the political situation and developments for the specialist department
• You will maintain networks and contacts in the political sphere for the association

• Completed university degree
• Several years of professional experience in the political environment at federal level (e.g. German Bundestag, federal ministries, state representations, parties or associations)
• Detailed knowledge of political opinion-forming processes and the legislative process at federal level
• Experience in political management and in establishing and maintaining contacts with political stakeholders (f/m/d)
