The aim of this degree course is to produce organizational and economic psychologists who are able to competently identify and deal with psychological challenges in the business environment. In particular, students acquire the expertise to work in human resources or business consulting for organizations, companies and other areas. They will develop soft skills that will enable them to act responsibly even in ethically challenging decision-making situations, and acquire knowledge to establish independent, informed and analytical viewpoints in diverse working environments interlaced with company, personnel, consumer and manufacturing policies. They will be able to deliver high-quality work on a daily basis, taking over various managerial tasks and competently implementing projects in a wide range of areas.
The programme is modular and enables the students to focus on an individual profile according to their areas of interest and future career ambitions.

Учебный план программы обучения "Organisational and Economic Psychology"
The seven-semester programme Organisational and Economic Psychology (B.Sc.) includes theoretical and practical study phases.
1st and 2nd semester
The first two semesters teach basic psychology knowledge (General Psychology 1 and 2 and Social Psychology). The module Organisational Psychology already teaches the varying points of view between the disciplines. A solid methodological foundation is laid in the first two semesters as well with the modules Mathematics, Statistics 1 and 2 and Research Methods. Apart from offers in management, organisation, marketing and HR management, classical schools of economic psychological thought are addressed as well. In accounting, the focus is on business administrative aspects.
3rd and 4th semester
The 3rd semester teaches basic business processes and mechanisms (financial and investment management, organisation analysis and development). Legal basics create a framework.
In the 4th semester, an aggregating economic perspective that considers the necessary social and behavioral scientific extensions to classical models is developed (basics of micro and macro economics, behavioural economics).
5th semester
Students take an 18-week internship in a company. In addition to that they have two accompanying block seminars (PLV).
6th and 7th semester
The last two semesters teach individual, social and business-related conflict resolutions. The students have lectures on the Psychology of Financial Markets and Project Management. During those two last semesters, the students can choose between different competence fields.
