The close relationships with partners from the region as well as at home and abroad enable practice-oriented studying from day one. Interdisciplinary projects give you the opportunity to work with fellow students and teachers from other departments and courses. Under the guiding principle of "research-based learning", students can familiarize themselves with the methods of application-oriented research at an early stage.

For parents, there are flexible forms of teaching and learning, opportunities to start studying later and very inexpensive childcare.

In 2010 the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam was honored by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft and the Conference of Ministers of Education. Among the more than 100 state universities of applied sciences in Germany, the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences is one of four universities of applied sciences that have been awarded the title "Excellence in Teaching".

Experienced, committed teachers, employees, well-equipped laboratories, workshops and event rooms, a modern university library and interactive communication and learning platforms offer excellent conditions for studying efficiently and practically. Students can also take part in courses at all Brandenburg universities.
