Undergraduate Winter Semester

Studies in economics and engineering (Diplom) aim at imparting qualifications that are necessary for managing positions in companies, federations, financial institutions, national and international organisations, administrative institutions as well as in research and teaching institutions.
The programme consists of mandatory modules and mandatory electives. There are two versions of the programme which differ in the mandatory electives (135). In the programme “Standard”, students have to choose modules in economics (at least 45 ECTS) as well as modules in engineering (at least 45 ECTS). In the programme “International”, students have to choose modules in economics (at least 35 ECTS), modules in engineering (at least 35 ECTS) as well as studies at a foreign university (at least 20 ECTS). The tenth semester is dedicated to visiting a research seminar and to preparing the thesis.
