Faculty III – Media, Information and Design

Faculty III is the largest faculty at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and offers many of the most popular courses. The graduates of the 18 courses find their place in the labor markets of the creative, information, communication and media industries.

Are you curious, creative, communicative, want to have »something to do with media« or design yourself and your environment? Then you have come to the right place at Faculty III - Media, Information and Design at the University of Hanover. During your studies, the college offers you the basics for your profession as a journalist, photographer, media, product or fashion designer, costume designer or scenographer, interior designer, public relations worker, information and media -, communication or event manager. At the faculty, we teach in 15 bachelor's and four master's programs - and more are in the pipeline. Despite all the technical differences, they all have a high degree of practical relevance in common. For you, this means optimal preparation for the job - but it also demands full commitment from you. Most courses are full-time courses that require you to work 40 hours a week. In the two departments “Design and Media” and “Information and Communication”, around 60 professors, around 20 teaching staff for special tasks, and many colleagues in technology and administration support the courses.
