At the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape, the space-defining disciplines of architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture and environmental planning are combined in an internationally outstanding way. In the research focus Habitats of the Future / Future Habitats, interdisciplinarity is the basis for reflection and innovation in construction, as well as in relation to biodiversity and the climate crisis in urban and rural areas.

As an expression of the search for spatial quality on all scales, design is the focus of the architecture and landscape architecture studies. The quality of teaching is reflected in the annual publications of the HOCHWEIT faculty and in the awards for study and theses.
