Following the university principle "teaching through research", the work at the professorships of the faculty is determined by three guiding principles: professionalization, competence development and internationalization. This is supported, among other things, by numerous international research contacts, international student and lecturer exchanges and innovative courses.
The faculty is responsible for the educational content as a connecting element of all teacher training courses as well as for the special educational subjects and the majority of primary school didactics.
