The Department of Social Work, Health and Media will combine future-proof and innovative teaching and research in the fields of social work, health, journalism and communication. Interdisciplinarity and practical relevance are not just key words, they are an integral part of all courses.
The Department of Social Work, Health and Media has been in existence since October 2015 and was a result of the merger of the two previous Departments of Social and Health Sciences and Communication and Media. There are currently 1600 students enrolled on the bachelor's, master's and further education courses within the department and 55 employees in teaching, research and service.
