Die Fakultät für Bau- und Umweltingenieurwissenschaften bietet eine umfassende Anzahl von Forschungsschwerpunkten und Lehrveranstaltungen an. Moderne Studiengänge werden im gestuften, europäischen Bachelor-/Mastersystem angeboten. Regelmäßig finden Veranstaltungen, sowohl national als auch international, Auszeichnung von Absolventen und Vorträge zu aktuellen Forschungsthemen statt. An der Fakultät forschen und lehren 17 Lehrstühle und Arbeitsgruppen. Die Fakultät besitzt eine Bibliothek, mehrere CIP-Inseln, ein VR-Labor, mehrere Werkstätte und weitere Einrichtungen.
