The Faculty of Media – founded in December 2000 – offers study programmes around new media und multimedia and their usage in all social and commercial areas: a bachelor’s programme in media engineering, audio and video and media informatics as well as a master’s programme in media informatics.
Our students are trained to become highly qualified experts for (multi)media solutions. They gather knowledge and competences during lectures, seminars and lab work as well as in many interdisciplinary projects – from the fundamentals to advanced application of media technology. Our graduates know all phases from analysis to design, implementation and presentation and can thus find suitable solutions in terms of economy, design and technology.
