Courses preparing for a Studienkolleg

A Studienkolleg is the foundation year for school leavers whose certificate gives no direct access to a German university. A public Studienkolleg admits by an entrance test: German and, for many courses, maths. The German level is set by the Studienkolleg itself — mostly B1 or B2. Here are the courses that prepare for this test, at the schools' own prices.

Questions: Courses preparing for a Studienkolleg

Who needs a Studienkolleg?
Those whose school certificate gives no direct access to a German university. A Studienkolleg ends with the Feststellungsprüfung — the exam that opens the way to a university.
Which German level does the entrance test require?
Each Studienkolleg sets it — mostly B1 or B2. The level and the subjects of the test are on the Studienkolleg's page in our catalogue.
Can I get a visa for such a course?
If the course is in person with at least 18 lessons a week on weekdays — yes, as for a regular intensive course. The badge on the card shows whether a course fits a visa.
