The school’s Lindenberg campus houses students in modern twin, triple, and quad rooms, each boasting en-suite bathrooms and high-quality furnishings. Many rooms offer sweeping views of the Alps or surrounding forest, ensuring a comfortable and inspiring study environment.
Roommates are carefully paired by German proficiency, age range, and diverse native languages to promote constant German practice outside lessons. Male and female students live in separate wings, maintaining a focused, respectful atmosphere.
Three fresh, healthy meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—are served daily in the dining hall. A balanced menu crafted by professional kitchen staff includes a fruit basket available throughout the day.
A complimentary laundry service handles students’ clothing each day, while linens and towels are provided and replaced on a regular schedule for maximum convenience.
During July and August, students may opt to stay with carefully selected local German host families in single or twin rooms. Hosts provide breakfast, while lunch and dinner take place in the school’s dining hall to keep all students connected to the campus community.
Each host family is personally vetted by the school to ensure student welfare. Roommates follow the same matching criteria as on campus—age, language level, and varied mother tongues—to encourage German conversation. Most host homes are within a 10–20 minute walk; for those farther away, daily transportation is arranged.
Each year, the Lindenberg campus attracts a diverse student body from all continents, promoting multicultural exchange and intensive German immersion. In the most recent term, the student demographic was distributed as follows:
Over the course of the year, learners from 72 different nations enrolled in the institute’s German programs, enriching the global perspective and cultural diversity of every course.

Indoors, there’s a fully equipped gym, an indoor swimming pool, arts & crafts studios, and versatile game rooms featuring billiards, table tennis, and table football.
Additional on-site highlights include an auditorium for performances, a dedicated party room, a cinema lounge, plus a spacious common room. A barbecue area and expansive lawn invite social gatherings or sunbathing. In winter, organized ski and snowshoe outings in the nearby Alps add an adventurous twist to free time.
