Dormitory rooms are light-filled and welcoming, typically furnished with two beds; select rooms accommodate three to four students. Shared showers and toilets are conveniently located on each floor, and complimentary Wi-Fi ensures constant connectivity.
Room assignments pair students with similar German proficiency and age, while differing native languages—promoting conversational practice beyond the classroom. Male and female participants reside in separate wings to maintain a respectful environment.

The Don Bosco youth hostel is purpose-built for young learners, featuring indoor sports halls, an extensive fitness room, a spacious indoor pool, and inviting common areas for socializing.
Each afternoon, students choose from a rotating schedule of sports, games, and cultural workshops. Whether shooting hoops, challenging friends to billiards, or exploring a local museum, every activity is designed to reinforce German practice in a fun, supportive setting. Participation is included in tuition and strongly encouraged.

Every Wednesday, half-day trips take students to nearby towns and landmarks, while Saturdays feature full-day excursions to highlights such as the Bavarian Alps, Augsburg, Munich city tour, or Neuschwanstein Castle. All transport and entrance fees are covered by the course fee. Attendance is mandatory to maximize cultural immersion.
Our dedicated pastoral team provides continuous oversight—during lessons, leisure activities, and excursions. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes, meals, and events to ensure safety and create a cohesive group experience.
Arrivals are scheduled on the Sunday preceding course commencement; departures take place on the Saturday following course completion.

Each summer, the Humboldt-Institut Munich delivers a tailored program for 13–17-year-olds: 30 interactive lessons per week, Monday through Friday, in small groups. Lesson plans and materials are designed specifically for teenagers, emphasizing varied learning activities and a high speaking ratio to keep students motivated and engaged.
