Business Administration, B.A.
The bachelor's degree in business administration is geared to the requirements of the economy. In small study groups, students acquire broad, scientifically sound knowledge of business administration and, at the same time, learn an application-oriented, practical use of commercial methods. As part of the generalist training, the students are u. a. initially with the basics of business administration, economics, law and business mathematics and statistics. In addition, they gain special knowledge in the areas of marketing, information management, taxation / auditing, human resources, finance, materials and production management, corporate governance and accounting / annual financial statement analysis / controlling. The practice phase integrated in the course prepares students for professional practice as well as the teaching of social and foreign language skills. In the last two semesters, students can specialize in subject matter from an extensive catalog of compulsory elective modules according to their individual inclinations, in order to prepare themselves as best as possible for later entry into the profession.

Will I get in
The programme has an admission restriction: the average grade of your certificate, converted to the German scale, decides. The cut-off changes every year — last year's value shows the order of magnitude, not a promise.
How the selection works and how strong the competition is — we go through it against your certificate when we select programmes for you.
Programme selection →What you study
Due to the fully modular structure of the study, the student gets the possibility of a revealing, individual design according to his interests. This applies both to the situation and to the content of the courses. Recommendations are given in the standard study plan, which, if complied with, also guarantees the professional qualification within the defined period of six semesters. The compulsory modules ensure the qualification-oriented knowledge base for the generalist study program. The elective modules give the students opportunities for individual profiling. The practice phase integrated in the course prepares students for professional practice as well as the teaching of social and foreign language skills.
The full curriculum and the programme's parameters are part of programme selection: we compare them with your profile.

If your level is not enough yet
The two most common stoppers are a language level below the requirement and a certificate without direct admission. Both can be solved, but they take months — plan them now, not after a rejection.
