Data Science, M.Sc.
Research Institutes agree: Data Science, Machine Learning and intelligent machines/systems do have huge growth rates. This will result in enormous changes in the industry and societies. This change is attended by Beuth Hochschule as a part of the Einstein Center Digital Future Initiative in education, research and with industry cooperations.
In a unique effort, our three departments VI, II and I created a master degree course which offers modern and practical Data Science education. This is accompanied by the Data Science Lab of Beuth Hochschule with a huge amount of research projects, publications and industrial contacts which will enrich this master. Our data science education takes the enormous demand of Data Scientists into account which is visible in Berlin, Germany and worldwide.

Our curriculum offers a mix of advanced computer science methods and mathematics. As a Data Science Student, you will learn to master scalable database technologies and design statistical knowledge to build prediction models.

Successful use of data science at a large organization is challenging, but once data science methods are implemented, an organization sees everything through the lens of its potential. Organizations located in Berlin like Zalando, Amazon, eBay/mobile.de or SAP and many medium-sized companies, rely heavily on data science and utilize its capabilities in all their products. As a Data Scientist or Data Engineer you design models for data analysis, collect training data, clean up the data and run models on many computers simultaneously.
