Human Medicine, State Examination
Few other fields of study are as highly competitive as human medicine. Places are limited, and even with a perfect high school GPA of 1.0, a place is not guaranteed. At MSH, you have the opportunity to fulfill your dream of studying medicine without a numerus clausus (NC). MSH offers the human medicine program in cooperation with the Helios Clinics Schwerin. This program is part of the MSH Faculty of Medicine. The program meets all the quality standards of a human medicine degree in Germany. It concludes with the state examination and qualifies graduates for medical licensure. Within the framework of MSH's interprofessional university concept, graduates are not only trained to become highly qualified physicians but also develop an interdisciplinary understanding of working in multi-professional teams.

Programme selection →What you study
The MSH's guiding principle is based on the interdisciplinary and interprofessional training of health professionals. Health professionals are individuals who come from academically trained healthcare professions (therapy professions, nursing), psychology, and human medicine, as well as from degree programs with strong ties to health promotion, prevention, diagnostics, therapy, rehabilitation, and management, and who collaborate as equals. MSH thus reflects the demands of the job market for collaboration in interprofessional teams right from the start of the training. For our medical students, the CanMEDS role model for interdisciplinary medical competencies is both a central and ultimate goal in their training to become medical experts. The understanding of the development of a physician's personality is based on a biopsychosocial understanding of health and illness. The curriculum is structured around specific topics and organ systems and promotes collaboration among specialists. A vertical and horizontal connection between the study phases enables practice- and evidence-based training from the very first semester. The individual well-being of patients is at the heart of all our actions.

How to apply
You can submit the application yourself or with our help — the university decides on admission in both cases.
Applications go through the university's portal or uni-assist. Typical mistakes:
- ×incorrectly made certified copies and translations
- ×a wrong set of documents
- ×the application submitted the wrong way
- ×errors or gaps in the application form
- ×the application submitted at the wrong time — too early or too late
An incomplete or incorrectly prepared application is excluded from the selection — it can no longer be corrected after the deadline.
StudyInFocus does not represent the university and does not influence the admission decision. We do not sell study places and do not guarantee admission — this is a service for preparing and submitting documents on the applicant's side.
If your level is not enough yet
The two most common stoppers are a language level below the requirement and a certificate without direct admission. Both can be solved, but they take months — plan them now, not after a rejection.
