Graduate
The advanced degree in Environmental Engineering builds on knowledge from a related bachelor’s program and, where applicable, professional experience. Students typically specialize in areas such as building energy efficiency and sustainability, power engineering, recycling, or environmental process engineering; alternatively, some master’s programs cover a broad cross-section of the field.
The program concludes with a second qualifying university degree.
Environmental Engineering can also be pursued in dual-study formats as well as part-time or distance-learning programs.
Depending on the university: internships, practice modules or a practical semester (e.g., in companies, engineering offices or research institutes, possibly abroad), research projects and field trips.
