Applied Computer Science – Systems Engineering

In addition to computer science, the four-semester core study program includes above all mathematics and business administration. A 2-semester specialization study will then be completed in one of the key areas Network Systems Engineering or Software Systems Engineering. In the chosen field of specialization, the Bachelor thesis is prepared in German or in a foreign language generally accepted by the Examination Board.

The bachelor's degree program "Applied Computer Science - Systems Engineering" aims at an application-oriented and practice-oriented education for the different fields of activity in the field of computers, internet, software and e-business, whereby the foundations in the field of mathematics and theoretical computer science meet the requirements of a demanding Studies are coordinated. The specializations Network Systems Engineering and Software Systems Engineering cover the entire spectrum from network infrastructure to operational application systems.
