Business Education (Economics and Administration)

Free University of Berlin

Undergraduate Winter Semester

Alongside the acquisition of subject-specific competence in both Economic Sciences and the selected second subject, the course aims to develop skills for organising and managing teaching, learning and development environments (in vocational colleges, in commercial training and in educational institutions) as well as in dealing with the people who are being taught. Graduates in Business Education (Economics and Administration) are qualified for jobs in the sectors of continuing education and vocational training, and in the area of human resources. The students learn these skills through a combination of frontal teaching, virtual teaching and self-study, both alone and in groups. The HU Business Education (Economics and Administration) course gives its students the opportunity to contribute to research and development projects independently and at an early stage. Successfully completing the bachelor's degree with teacher training is the requirement for embarking on a (teacher training) master’s course in the selected subject combination.
