Undergraduate Winter Semester

Get ready for the future: Learn to understand, optimize, and digitize business processes with innovative technologies – practical, future-oriented, and modern.

The digitalization of companies is advancing daily, and employees are in demand who both understand how companies operate and can utilize new technologies. The Business Information Systems degree program addresses this need and trains computer scientists who understand business relationships and processes (so-called business processes), as well as analyze and digitize them.

The bachelor's program forms the foundation for subsequent master's programs.

1. Foundations:

In the first three semesters of your studies, you will learn the fundamentals of computer science (e.g., software development), business informatics (e.g., business process management, business intelligence), business administration, mathematics, and project management.

2. Specializations and Projects:

In the 4th and 5th semesters, you have the opportunity to choose between various specializations. At least one specialization must be selected from your business informatics program. The second specialization can also be selected from another subject. An overview of the electives can be found here.

3. Final Semester:

An internship in the final semester gives you initial insights into the respective professional fields.

The recognized degree is then awarded upon successful completion of a bachelor's thesis.
