The aim of the bachelor's degree is to provide the broadest possible scientific basic education in the core subjects of chemistry (inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry, biochemistry, theoretical chemistry), including the necessary basics in mathematics and physics. This results in a set study program consisting of 13 compulsory modules. In addition, there is a detailed elective area with a relatively small scope. In addition to the lectures, the focus of the chemistry degree is on intensively supervised laboratory internships at the university, in which the theoretical knowledge acquired is immediately applied.
