The Chemistry and Biotechnology bachelor’s program at Constructor University combines chemistry and biotechnology in an English-taught, research-oriented degree. Students gain early laboratory experience, work on sustainable solutions for chemicals, materials, energy, food, and pharmaceuticals, and build a strong foundation for careers in science and industry.
The program is interdisciplinary and combines organic, inorganic, analytical, and physical chemistry with biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, bioprocess engineering, and industrial biotechnology.
A major academic focus is the use of biomolecules and biocatalysts for sustainable chemical processes, biorefining concepts, and the circular economy. Early access to research is a core feature of the program: students are encouraged to join research projects from the first semesters and conduct their own research work in the third year.
