During the study, the student acquires general skills in the basics of computer science in accordance with the basics of mathematics and a self-chosen supplementary subject. The program introduces both the foundations of scientific research and applied aspects of computer science.

The training is based on the job description of a computer scientist who is involved in the new and further development of software and hardware systems in the field of industry or the service industry. In doing so, great value is attached to the imparting of comprehensive practical knowledge as well as theoretically substantiated concepts and methods in order to enable a successful activity in practice and at the same time to lay the foundations for a scientifically oriented Master's degree program.
