The course is divided into a pre-clinical and a clinical part of five semesters each. After a minimum study period of two semesters, the scientific preliminary examination (preliminary physics) can be taken, after three further semesters the dental preliminary examination (physics) can be taken. The clinical part of the course comprises at least five semesters and is concluded with the dental examination (state examination).
