Informatics is offered at KIT as a consecutive Bachelor's/Master's course. The basics of the course are taught in the subjects theoretical computer science, practical computer science, technical computer science and mathematics.


The bachelor's program combines a methodically oriented basic program in the areas of practical, theoretical and technical computer science as well as mathematics with a wide range of supplementary subjects and an elective with flexible computer science modules. The special profile of the course includes a very solid basic mathematical education in analysis, linear algebra and practical mathematics. So that you can already set your own priorities in the bachelor’s degree, the curriculum offers you flexible sizes in the elective and supplementary subject.
