The international master of interior-architectural design (imiad) is a master’s degree with an international profile. In four semesters, students gain a deeper understanding of the potential and the quality of the spaces in which we spend an average of 90 percent of our lifetime living, working and leisure activities in order to be able to take responsibility for the design of the built environment with their own ideas in the future. The Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences is the place of study in the first and third semesters. You will spend the second semester at one of our partner universities. Every year, all partners meet between the second and third semester for an international workshop at one of the university locations. The teaching builds on the content and learning objectives of space-related bachelor's degree courses and deepens the design theory so that independent answers to complex design tasks can be found and developed creatively and constructively. Individual areas of knowledge can be deepened in electives.
