The course aims to acquire the skills and knowledge that are essential for practicing legal professions. It should enable academic work, critical thinking and responsible action in a free, democratic and social constitutional state. This includes specialist knowledge in the basic and core legal subjects as well as case-solving, argumentation and presentation techniques as well as language skills. In particular, the course should enable students to answer legal questions in a European and global context, to recognize the political, social, historical and cultural contexts of law and to develop new developments independently.
