Media Studies

The Bachelor's second subject in Media Studies imparts academic competence in the independent use of media, especially with regard to the increasing interconnectedness with politics, culture and art. It is therefore a useful addition to all core subjects offered at the Humboldt University.

Media permeate and shape everyday life, social life, the environment, science and the arts. Media Studies at the Humboldt University of Berlin addresses this culturally formative dimension of the media with a theoretically and methodologically broad study program.
