Starting in the winter semester of 2024/25, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin will offer a primary-qualifying dual study program in Nursing, enabling graduates to practice nursing independently and professionally. The program has a generalist focus and qualifies graduates for the general nursing care of people of all ages in various nursing care settings.
The BSc Nursing program aims to train self-reliant, continuously developing nurses who are technically excellent, socially competent, team-oriented, and up-to-date with current best practices and research. They thus contribute to safe, effective, and person-centered care. They are optimally prepared for independent and collaborative practice of generalist nursing in facilities and services providing health-promoting, preventive, rehabilitative, curative, and palliative healthcare.
