The ecotrophology course is a practice-oriented, professionally qualifying course on a scientific basis. It combines natural, social and economic subjects. The course enables students to design and implement nutritional advice and educational offers for healthy and sick people, as well as to develop and test food, equipment and manufacturing processes. In addition to the organization of services in the catering and supply area, implementation and control of food safety and product quality are further focal points in the course.
