The bachelor's degree in psychology leads to a first professional qualification. It includes extensive methodological training (research methods, statistics and data analysis), training in the basic areas, which deal with perception and memory processes, learning and emotions, as well as the biopsychological foundations of human behavior and experience. Furthermore, questions of personality and the development of individuals in different cultures and age groups as well as the behavior and attitudes of groups are examined. Other areas taught in the bachelor's degree are diagnostic methods and the applied subjects of disorder theory, general procedural theory of psychotherapy, preventive and rehabilitative concepts of psychotherapeutic action as well as the basics of educational psychology and work and organizational psychology. Other important training content includes the research internship and the job-related internships as well as the bachelor's thesis.

The bachelor's degree in psychology was designed on the basis of the licensing regulations and contains all the licensing-relevant content provided for in the bachelor's degree.
