Biologist / biochemist as project manager

MACHEREY-NAGEL is a globally operating, economically healthy and expanding family business with headquarters in Düren, Rhineland. Our fields of activity are in the growth markets of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry as well as molecular biological diagnostics. We develop and manufacture special analytical products for these markets. To strengthen our sales team OEM Bioanalytics we are looking for a biologist / biochemist as project manager (m / w / d)

• Support worldwide OEM distributors for the product area DNA / RNA / Protein Purification (OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer)
• OEM project coordination for the development of customized product solutions in cooperation with OEM partners and internal departments
• Maintenance of existing customer contacts as well as strategic development of new global or local OEM target markets by establishing / expanding the customer network
• Expert advice, product presentation and product training
• Preparation and implementation of OEM marketing activities and participation in trade fairs as sales support activities
• Intensive communication and close cooperation with external OEM distributors and internal departments

• Completed degree in biology, biochemistry or related sciences
• In-depth molecular biology knowledge and in-depth practical laboratory experience in the field of DNA / RNA / protein preparation and its follow-up applications
• Professional experience in the field of molecular diagnostics and applied testing, preferably also very advantageous in project management with customers
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working, high self-motivation
• Strong communication, pleasant conversation and confident appearance
• Customer and sales thinking
• Willingness to International Missions and Presentation Experience
• Very good German and English spoken and written
