In your role as a calculation engineer (f / m / d) with a focus on virtual testing of electronic components, you develop and optimize complex simulation environments for our iMow robotic lawnmower. You are a technical expert (f / m / d) for the simulation model and work with a variety of interfaces both within the internal specialist disciplines in development and with external partners. You will play a key role in designing new calculation methods and thus achieve sustainable success in the further development of the iMow.
Tasks:
- Responsibility for setting up a virtual test environment in the product area of robotic mowers, including definition and automation of tests at component and system level
- Development and validation of simulation models for electrical and electronic robotic lawnmower components as well as their integration into a digital test environment
- Designing the workflow of specification, implementation, validation and execution of the virtual tests with the help of CI tools
- Continuous maintenance and further development of the simulation software used, the data management, as well as the scripts for pre- & amp; Postprocessing
- Technical control of integrated external service providers, as well as international cooperation with internal and external partners as well as supervision of student work in the field of simulation of electrical and electronic components
Requirements:
- Sound experience in modeling electrical, electronic and mechatronic components with experimental correlation
- Very good knowledge of Matlab / Simulink, SPICE or comparable simulation tools, knowledge of Linux and software programming (e.g. C, C ++, Python) using the Continuous Integration method
- Successfully completed studies as Dipl.-Ing. / Master in electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical cybernetics or technical computer science with a focus on circuit technology, electronic signal transmission, mechatronic systems, robotics or a comparable specialization, preferably with a subsequent doctorate
- Experience in requirements management and in the definition and implementation of test cases is an advantage
- Structured, analytical, goal-oriented and interdisciplinary way of working, pronounced logical thinking and the ability to solve complex issues
- Confident communication at all levels of cooperation (also in English), ability to work in a team, as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
