The objective of the Digital & Consulting area is to support the added value of the group companies with various professional services. On the one hand, this happens through the management and implementation of projects, for example support for a digital transformation. But this also happens through the provision of products, for example the production and maintenance of apps, digital services such as fraud prevention or platforms and events for knowledge exchange.
We are successful when we improve the value creation of the Otto Group companies and accelerate their growth. A relevant proportion of our projects consist of "classic" consulting projects for subsidiaries of the Otto Group in Germany and abroad, in which we answer questions in interdisciplinary teams. The consulting focus includes all essential topics that concern top management: from strategy and portfolio development, international expansion and growth, digital transformation to process improvement and restructuring. We also act as a talent incubator for the Otto Group: we develop and place future managers.
Tasks:
- In Digital & Consulting area, we are always developing new and sustainable solutions for the entire group and are a key driving force behind the digital transformation of the Otto Group's business models.
- Flat hierarchies and working together are lived, where the argument counts more than the title. Having fun together at and after work and our work-life balance are just as important to us as everyday project work, in which we develop sustainable, high-quality results for our customers.
- As a consultant, you will assume direct responsibility for challenging project modules on the group's central strategy projects.
- Your core tasks include modeling business cases and moderating workshops with (top) management.
Requirements:
- You have a first-class university degree (at least a diploma/master's degree, MBA or similar) and ideally have already gained experience abroad during your studies
- You bring your first professional experience, for example as a consultant in a management consultancy, a start-up or in a corporate environment.
- You like working in a team, you are creative, you are enthusiastic about new things and you can draw others along
- You think and act in a solution-oriented manner and are willing to take on responsibility
- You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills and are strong in communication
- You have the desire and passion to make a difference - even at other locations from time to time
- You are fluent in business in German and English
