In the course of highly automated / autonomous driving, one of the central challenges is the protection of various systems such as camera / radar / LIDAR sensors or other driver assistance functions. Since the verification of several million test kilometers can no longer be carried out exclusively in driving tests, the automotive components inevitably have to be simulated and secured in virtual environments and system networks (clusters). For the customer-specific further development of our software solutions in this domain, we are looking for reinforcements as soon as possible.

As a member of our team, you work closely with our global customers and actively support them in the use of established product solutions such as VEOS® or SCALEXiO® in the context of SIL testing. Not only do you use the state-of-the-art dSPACE product portfolio, you are also involved in developing customer-specific solutions to create new and innovative solutions for the virtual validation of autonomous driving functions.

• Market launch of new technologies through customer support and accompaniment of pilot projects in the field of driver assistance systems, highly automated / autonomous driving or cluster simulation
• Cooperation with our development department as well as the specialist departments of our national and international customers from the automotive sector
• Adaptation, tool automation and integration of technologies in the customer-specific development process
• Development of innovative solutions in the area of model-based development, simulation of ECU software and virtual tests of ECUs

• Studied computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable course
• Knowledge of software development with .NET (C #), C ++, C or in comparable environments, e.g. Java
• Knowledge in the following areas is desirable, but not a requirement:
  • Affinity to modern automotive systems
  • Script languages, e.g. Python
  • Basic knowledge of control technology
  • Automotive standards such as AUTOSAR or FMI
  • Programming of embedded systems
  • Modeling and simulation of dynamic systems in MATLAB® / Simulink®
• Pronounced analytical, systematic and independent way of working
• Customer orientation, good communication skills and good teamwork skills
• High level of commitment, initiative and willingness to learn
• Good knowledge of German and English
