Food technologists or dietician as product developers

Our customer is a traditional, innovative and successful producer of organic and vegan food with a location in the Westerwald. On behalf of our client we are looking for strengthening the product development department as soon as possible a dedicated, creative and enthusiastic food technologists or ecotrophologists as product developers (m / w / d).

• In this position you will ensure a continuous innovation process, where new products are developed from idea to market launch and existing products and ranges are further developed.
• You spend a significant amount of your time in the product development kitchen, where you try out new things, create test series and carry out storage tests.
• Supporting production in the transfer of new developments into series production is also one of your tasks.
• As an expert (m / w / d) for food you advise quality assurance and purchasing, e.g. in the selection of raw materials or different measuring methods.
• You always adhere to the IFS higher-level standards in your work and you are part of the HACCP team.
• Market observation and analysis as well as the identification of trends in products and technologies are also part of your job.
• You will also be responsible for conducting employee training and performing various administrative tasks such as documentation or assisting with the preparation of presentations.
• Attending international trade fairs and congresses completes your task profile.

• Ideal qualifications for this position are provided if you have successfully completed a food-related degree (food technology, nutritional science or equivalent) and have previous training as a food technician, cook, baker or confectioner (m / w / d).
• You have many years of experience in product development and are familiar with the basic legislation of the Food Regulation.
• A healthy and ecological diet is natural for you! They inspire your fellow human beings when talking about organic and vegan diets and are always up to date with the latest international food trends - especially in the vegan scene.
• Creativity is one of your greatest strengths - you love thinking "out of the box", developing new ideas and breaking new ground here.
• You are communicative, you enjoy working in a team but also with the internal interfaces production, QA / QM, purchasing, marketing and sales.
• Good command of English and good MS Office skills complete your profile.
