Tasks:
- Ensuring the development projects (new products and further developments) as well as the optimal use of resources with regard to the corporate strategy
- Transformation from analog to digital products
- Expansion and safeguarding of the product range
- Technical and disciplinary management of employees in the R & amp; D department, in particular leading, assessing, developing and promoting employees
- Budget responsibility for personnel costs in the area of development and construction
- Management of the continuous improvement process in the area of development and construction
- Coordination and responsibility for the entire product development process and patent applications
- Development of concepts to increase the ability to innovate
- Recognizing, checking and evaluating future market trends and customer requirements
- Responsibility for quality management in the context of R & amp; D, in particular for the CE marking
- Planning, budgeting and control of development and project tasks
- Representing the company on technical issues before customers, suppliers and associations as well as government agencies, standardization bodies, in committees, etc.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable training
- At least five years of professional experience in project or development management and the management of employees
- Knowledge of legal licensing procedures and patent law
- Ideally experience in the fields of pneumatics, hydraulics and explosion protection
- Knowledge of lean management is desirable
- Analytical and systematic way of thinking and proceeding
- Business fluent English skills
- Willingness to go on international business trips
