Our customer based in Upper Bavaria has been manufacturing light metal construction products for various industries for over 80 years. The company designs and supplies solutions for industry, plant construction, traffic engineering and trade.
Tasks:
- Design and development of future products to drive brand awareness globally
- Direct cooperation with Head of Industrial Design for the area "Safe Access Portfolio" (climbing technology)
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams on an international level regarding innovative product designs
- Support of existing projects with a focus on e.g. B. Creativity, ergonomics, materials, colors and aspects of user experience
- Promoting concepts for a holistic user experience including all touchpoints
- Using one's own design experience to master a variety of challenges throughout the entire product development process to achieve high design quality
- Bringing in your own creativity and experience with a large degree of freedom
Requirements:
- Completed studies (BA/MA) in the field of industrial design
- Ideally 5 years old. Professional experience in consumer goods and in the product design environment
- Proven hands-on mentality
- Excellent sketching and visualization skills (2D/3D) e.g. Sketchbook, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Inventor, etc. as well as handling prototypes/teaching models
- Strong communication skills, especially with regard to design factors
- Enthusiasm in the area of responsibility as well as innovative and creative problem-solving skills with innovative solution options
- Comprehensive focus on holistic and dynamic design processes
- Team focus, intuitive, motivated and interested in product processes
- Ability to design products according to end user benefit
- Very good English Language skills and willingness to travel
