The position helps to implement the social, ecological and economic orientation of the GLS Bank Group in the mutual fund business. It ensures that GLS Investment Management GmbH is the quality leader in the field of sustainable mutual funds and is continuously developing in order to remain a reference for the industry in the future.

• Financial analysis and economic evaluation of companies from the social-ecological investment universe of GLS Bank or other partners and provides impetus for expanding the investment universe
• Identifying investment ideas based on primary research, broker and company contacts as well as writing reports for internal committees and performance analysis of investments
• Providing technical support and communication for new or existing GLS investment offers on the financial and capital market in an interdisciplinary collaboration with our internal and external stakeholders
• Writing analyses and studies on economic topics (e.g. industry outlook) and contributing to sector allocation

• A completed degree in economics with a focus on finance/investment, ideally as a master's degree, or a university education in engineering/IT with additional financial market knowledge
• Several years of capital market experience, preferably in asset management. In-depth knowledge of securities analysis (stocks, bonds, derivatives) is essential
• Ideally, knowledge of the information systems, software and technology industry
• We require practical experience with professional financial information systems (e.g. Bloomberg)
• Very good knowledge of English (knowledge of another foreign language would be desirable)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong communication skills, responsible action and enjoyment of an intermediary role that can quickly analyze and structure information

The headquarters of GLS Investment Management GmbH is in Bochum, mobile work is possible.

This position comes with a gross annual income of between 53,500 and 85,700 euros plus possible social and local allowances.
