• Head of the Green Spaces Department
• Creation of a green space cadastre for economic maintenance and management
• Development of maintenance concepts for green spaces for climate protection, flora and fauna friendliness and biodiversity
• Budget planning and monitoring
• Preparation of cost estimates for green projects
• Recording, management and documentation as well as organization of the care and maintenance of sports facilities and playgrounds
• Acquisition, care and maintenance of cemeteries as well as development for future parking areas
• Nature protection: Strategic development of care and conservation concepts, networking strategies
• Creation of a cadastre for compensatory measures and biotopes, management and monitoring of maintenance
• Office of the tree commission

The main tasks include in particular:

• Further development, planning and organization of the green spaces department in the building and urban development department
• Leadership in the area of ​​economic green space management
• Coordination and placing of orders with the construction depot - green maintenance department
• Coordination with the real estate department, in particular clarification of ownership relationships
• Creation of tenders for the award of services to specialist companies
• Planning of smaller green projects, playgrounds and sports fields
• Strategy development in the area of ​​trees and orchards
• Exploring funding projects in the field of green spaces and submitting applications etc.
• Technical support for the planning of green spaces, trees and nature conservation compensatory measures in the development plan procedure as well as control of the implementation
• Acceptance and processing of applications for the tree commission, preparation of the meetings and preliminary coordination with the authorities and localities involved

The area of ​​responsibility will be updated or adapted as required.

• University degree (Bachelor / Master) in the field of landscape architecture with a focus on gardening, landscaping and sports field construction or a comparable degree, ideally with experience in the mentioned fields
• Motivation and enthusiasm for the development of a concept for the planning, organization and implementation of measures in the area of green spaces
• A high degree of independence and initiative
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Class B driving license
