Machine Learning Engineer (m / f / d)

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Creation and testing of training approaches for learning neural networks for the segmentation of point clouds and the optimized detection of gripping points
  • Identification of business requirements based on customer needs
  • Preparation of data for training machine learning models or selection of trained models
  • Selection of the most suitable models based on criteria such as performance and speed
  • Introduction and use of production-ready models

Requirements and expectations

  • Successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable degree
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment
  • In-depth understanding of machine learning / deep learning in relation to 2D / 3D image data and statistics as well as experience in image processing / computer vision
  • Very good programming knowledge in Python and C # as well as experience with ML libraries and the associated productive environments, e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, under Linux and Windows
  • Very good knowledge of using OpenCL, OpenGL or CUDA
  • Interested in actively helping to set up a new area of application
