Tasks:
Your next career leap: As a Manager (f/m/d) in our Operations Strategy Team, you will support well-known national and international companies from various industries in the development of strategies and concepts along the entire value chain. You can apply your expertise in the areas of portfolio, network and supply chain strategies, digital transformations as well as industrialization and performance excellence concepts.
Important interface: As a project manager, you are responsible for the successful management and control of a (sub)project. You lead (international) teams, are responsible for the personal and professional development of your team members and form trusting and sustainable client relationships. You are responsible for the structuring of the procedure, the development and quality of the work results and you are the interface between the team, clients and partners. From coordinating the work streams to leading workshops and account management, you are largely responsible for the project and thus help shape the success of our clients.
Your expertise is in demand: Together with a team, you are responsible for the complete development and structuring of offers as well as storylining and implementation of pitches to acquire existing and new clients and projects. As the driving force behind substantive discussions and questions, you bring both your expertise and new impulses to the table. You will draw on experts within the Strategy& and PwC network to develop effective strategies together with our clients. Your targeted placement of thought leadership topics on the market opens customer dialogues, e.g. by participating in conferences, publishing studies and articles on social media.

Requirements:
University degree with top grades: Your degree (master/diploma, MBA or PhD) in (business) engineering, economics, mathematics, natural sciences, (business) computer science, mechanical engineering, (technical ) You graduated in business administration or in a comparable area with excellent grades.
Many years of professional experience: You bring extensive professional experience from top management consulting, well-known companies from the industry (ideally DAX-30, Fortune 500), the strategic environment of companies or from start-ups in the areas of footprint / network design, supply chain transformations, operations excellence programs or portfolio optimization. You also have a good overview of the value chain (planning, purchasing, production with shop floor experience, distribution) or in-depth functional experience in one of the elements. Ideally, you have already worked on strategic projects in interdisciplinary teams. As part of your professional experience, you have deepened your functional expertise and built up a strong network.
Manager with entrepreneurial skills: You can look back on extensive experience in managing large, dynamic projects with a high level of responsibility for results and the management of cross-functional teams. You are very familiar with acquisition processes, e.g. the creation and structuring of (follow-up) offers. Ideally, you will have experience in agile project management.
Relevant international experience:During your career to date, you have ideally had at least six months of international experience.
Excellent communication style: You are characterized by exceptionally high communication skills in German and English. You successfully manage expectations towards junior teams and clients right from the start and find it easy to put complex ideas on paper and communicate them to the target group.
Distinctive decision-making skills: Thanks to your excellent analytical skills, you are able to quickly familiarize yourself with new issues. Taking into account the next project steps, you continuously set clear priorities for your team. Despite your excellent time management, you don't lose the necessary flexibility to make quick decisions, even in the event of unexpected events.
