We are looking for a managing director in Hamburg for the Malteser Hilfsdienst as soon as possible.
As a diocesan manager, you will take on management responsibility for our voluntary and social entrepreneurial services.
Almost 1,000 volunteers and around 900 full-time employees are involved, among other things, in emergency preparedness including rescue and medical services, in training, in voluntary social work, in the hospice service, in youth association work, in the school support service, in the house emergency call, in the menu service, in outpatient care and in the driving service. The office is in Hamburg.
Tasks:
- Ensuring a sustainable and stable further development of the Malteser Hilfsdienst in the Diocese of Hamburg.
- Overall economic responsibility for the development of results in the individual services
- Expansion of existing services, as well as strategic further development of new offers and locations
- Personnel management of full-time employees
- Leadership and promotion of voluntary work in tandem with the voluntary diocesan leader
- Coordination, participation and implementation of the committee work
- Accompaniment and active support of managers in organizational, economic or legal issues
- Ensuring communication to the local divisions, the social entrepreneurial services as well as non-association contact & amp; Network maintenance in church, state and society
Requirements:
- Business, legal or social science technical / university studies
- Several years of management experience in comparable structures, ideally in the health or social economy
- Winning leadership personality with excellent communication skills for goal-oriented, appreciative personnel management
- Profound knowledge in the work areas of the association as well as an affinity for the current developments in the individual areas
- If possible, knowledge of the relevant church labor and collective bargaining law (Episcopal constitution, AVR, MAVO)
- Assertive with a pronounced sensitivity, for a diverse team structure
- Entrepreneurial and impact-oriented action
- Decision-making ability and security
- Analytical mind for numbers and complex relationships
- Experience working with volunteer groups and leaders
