Operational Planner

Transdev Rhein-Ruhr is a subsidiary of Transdev GmbH and will in future operate under a new brand name in the Lower Rhine, Ruhr area and Münsterland region with around 250 employees and a route network of around 265 km .

Our long-term dispatcher plans and controls the entire process of personnel planning on an annual and monthly basis and is the direct contact for the region for the provision of transport services.

Planner (f/m/d)

• You take care of the creation and optimization of operating concepts for regular, construction site and new traffic in local rail passenger transport
• You take over the planning of vehicle rotations and duty shifts in close internal coordination
• You create timetable concepts and take care of data management
• You regularly coordinate with the authorities, infrastructure operators and other transport companies
• You are responsible for ordering train paths and station stops
• You will be involved in technical and operational special projects

• You have successfully graduated from a university or technical college with a focus on transport and professional experience
• Alternatively, you have completed vocational training in transport and several years of experience in planning/scheduling
• You are enthusiastic about matters and connections of public transport
• You have the ability to overview, structure and precisely implement complex tasks
• You are independent, communicative, a team player and keep a cool head in stressful situations
• You feel comfortable using MS Office programs and ideally have knowledge of IVU.plan
