Join our Services department as an Operations Research Scientist and create world-class optimizers that solve the planning puzzles our customers encounter every day.
The challenges ahead:
- Design, build, test and debug our optimizers and spar with other Operations Research Scientists about algorithms and solutions
- Work together with our Industry Process Consultants on designing planning solutions that incorporate world class optimization
- Design and conduct experiments to analyse and solve various real-life industry planning problems
- Participate in (re)designing planning processes, process improvements
Requirements:
- Relevant background in algorithmic techniques in operations research and/or artificial intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search techniques, logic programming, etc.).
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, or similar.
- Your strong analytical skills complement your nature to challenge boundaries and think outside the box
- Communicative, enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible personality who can get work done.
- Reliability and diligence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German is a plus.
