Optical Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Jena

Your responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating, and executing complex development tasks
• Designing, analyzing, and optimizing opto-mechanical systems and devices according to technical specifications
• Analyzing and assessing system requirements
• Performing system validations
• Setting up and conducting complex laboratory test scenarios
• Preparing result reports and technical documentation

Your profile

• Completed engineering degree, preferably in physics, laser & optical technology, photonics, or a comparable field
• Initial experience in optical development
• Hands-on expertise with optical systems
• Confident use of MATLAB and solid data analysis skills
• Good command of German and English
